Ultimate Oreo Poke Cake



Indulge in the ultimate chocolatey dessert with this Oreo Poke Cake. It's a moist chocolate cake soaked in sweetened condensed milk and hot fudge sauce, topped with a layer of fluffy whipped topping and crushed Oreo cookies. A true delight for chocolate and Oreo lovers!

Ingredients:

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 package Oreo cookies about 24 cookies
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 jar hot fudge sauce
  • 1 container whipped topping
  • Crushed Oreo cookies for garnish

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish

In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs

Mix until well combined

Pour the cake batter into the prepared baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for the time specified on the cake mix box, usually about 30-35 minutes

While the cake is baking, crush the Oreo cookies

You can do this by placing them in a resealable plastic bag and using a rolling pin to crush them into small pieces

Once the cake is done baking, remove it from the oven and use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the cake, spacing them evenly

Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the warm cake, making sure it seeps into the holes

Heat the hot fudge sauce in the microwave or on the stovetop until it's pourable, and then drizzle it over the cake as well, spreading it evenly with a spatula

Let the cake cool completely in the refrigerator for a few hours or overnight

Before serving, spread the whipped topping over the cake and garnish with crushed Oreo cookies
