Don't let a green smoothie fail get you down! This green smoothie is packed with nutritious ingredients like spinach, kale, and green apple, and can be customized to your taste preferences. It's a perfect way to start your day or boost your energy.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup spinach leaves
  • 1/2 cup kale leaves
  • 1/2 cucumber, peeled and sliced
  • 1 green apple, cored and chopped
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup optional
  • Ice cubes optional

Instructions:

Wash the spinach and kale leaves thoroughly

In a blender, combine the spinach, kale, cucumber, green apple, banana, and lemon juice

Pour in the unsweetened almond milk and add honey or maple syrup if desired for sweetness

Blend until smooth, adding ice cubes if you prefer a colder smoothie

Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness as needed by adding more honey, maple syrup, or lemon juice

Blend again until well combined

Pour into a glass and serve immediately
