These Soft Batch Christmas Sprinkle Cookies are a delicious holiday treat. The soft, buttery cookies are adorned with colorful sprinkles, adding a festive touch to your festivities. They are simple to make and ideal for sharing with family and friends at holiday gatherings.

Ingredients:

  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/2 cup colored sprinkles

Instructions:

Warm your oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on baking sheets

Mix the flour, baking soda, and baking powder together in a medium-sized bowl using a whisk

Spread the softened butter and sugar out in a separate large bowl and mix them together until they are light and fluffy

Add the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract and beat until everything is well mixed

Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ones and mix them together until they are just combined

Be careful not to mix the sprinkles in too much as you gently fold them in

Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the baking sheets that have been prepared

You can use a cookie scoop or a spoon for this

Each dough ball should be slightly pressed down to make it flat

After the oven is hot, bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the edges are just beginning to turn golden

Take the cookies out of the oven and let them cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheets

Place the cookies on wire racks to cool all the way through

You can eat these Soft Batch Christmas Sprinkle Cookies by themselves or with someone you care about
