Cheesy Red Hot Rice



Rich cheese and fiery sauce combine to create a flavorful and spicy dish called Cheesy Red Hot Rice. For those who enjoy a little kick in their meals, it makes the ideal side dish or main course.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups rice
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

In a pot, bring chicken broth to a boil

Add rice, diced tomatoes, red bell pepper, onion, and garlic to the pot

Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes or until rice is cooked

Stir in shredded cheddar cheese and hot sauce until cheese is melted

Season with salt and pepper to taste

Serve hot and enjoy!
